Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jacqui has a background in design, fine art, fashion, and film + TV production.
She grew up in the fashion business, and later shifted into entertainment -- painting sets and working her way up to producing feature films & TV shows for FOX, Showtime, Discovery, History, and A&E.
In 2005, Jacqui put her career on hold to care for her mother, who was battling aggressive breast cancer, grieving the deaths of her sister and fiancé, selling her house, and moving into a new home. It was during this challenging chapter that Jacqui realized there was a real need for a concierge--type service that offers expertise and support to people relocating under any circumstances.
As a film & TV producer, Jacqui worked in high-stress environments where she was expected to multi--task and make the impossible possible. It trained her well, but left her unfulfilled. She wanted to bring her producing skills to help families in need. In 2011, she launched Get It Moving and Knapp House Management.
Jacqui's diverse background combined with her ability to take hold of an idea, pull together all the necessary elements, and manage each project through to the end, make her a unique & trusted asset for clients facing organizing, relocation & home management challenges.
Jacqui is considered a leader in her field. She maintains strong working relationships with real estate agents, moving companies, interior designers, contractors and many other vendors, and is a member of NAPO.net -- National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals.
